It took months of creative bill paying and scrimping on EVERYTHING to buy my PS1 in 1997.
There was no way I was ever going to be able to afford a PS2, so when Glenn and Rick gave me one for XMas in 2002, I almost DIED with bliss.
I dragged my feet about buying a PS3. I would save up the money and go to the store; and chicken out. Rick finally got sick of taking me to the mall for no reason and MADE me purchase one in 2009.
Then I bought a second one in 2011 - to go with the second TV from Laura.
Every one of these purchases was tough. I'm not financially savvy. Saving money has always been almost impossible for me, regardless of my income level.
But I've changed - matured - evolved - or (my favorite) unfolded.
This week I was able to pre-purchase the material object I want most in the universe! (and an extra controller)
